2nd Annual Cars for a Cause: Brad and Amanda’s ride to support kids in need

A few weeks ago, our very own team members, Brad and Amanda, took to the racetrack at Area27 Motorsports Park, donating co-pilot rides at the 2nd annual Cars for a Cause Charity event in support of the OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre. 

The event offered participants the chance to experience the exhilaration of racing around an exclusive track, designed by F1 legend Jacque Villeneuve. By purchasing ride-along laps from an impressive lineup of cars driven by passionate members of Area27, attendees contributed to a fantastic cause. All the proceeds went directly to the OSNS Legacy Foundation, which is committed to providing essential resources, programs, and support to children and families facing developmental delays in the South Okanagan. 

The heartwarming involvement of the children was the highlight of the day. They kicked off the event with their own parade laps, as families cheered them on from the sidelines. The joyous atmosphere continued with a delightful BBQ lunch, followed by an opportunity to marvel at the array of cool cars on display.
